The University of Central Arkansas is seeking student-workers for the Athletic Ticket Office. The Ticket Operations student-workers will work with the Athletic Ticket Manager to ensure ticketing operations for each ticketed sport are accomplished. The student-worker position is designed to expose the individual to all aspects of an NCAA ticket office. This is a one-year position with hourly pay with the opportunity to return year to year. Ticket Office Student-Worker will gain valuable experience in the inner workings of a Division I athletic ticket office.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Students will work between 10-20 hours each week between office hours and event hours. Students must be able to work nights and weekends for all UCA home ticketed events. Processing of single game and season tickets. Assist with ticket related functions for home football, men's and women's basketball and baseball (Including sales, will call, player guest, and recruit ticket distribution). Regular and reliable attendance. Attention to detail and ability to concentrate on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Learn and Understand the basic ticket software (AudienceView). Process ticket orders, mail tickets, provide excellent customer service to customers on the phone and at the window, respond to email inquiries. Work well in a team environment. Maintain minimum of 20 outbound sales calls per week. Contact past customers to generate new sales. Attend ongoing sales training. Work sales table during games and represent UCA Athletics at community events. Provide additional support to the Ticket Office and marketing department when necessary. Complete and assist with other projects as assigned.
