Position Summary
Job Summary: The Earth and Environmental Science Department Assistant will assist EENV department faculty with ongoing tasks in the department. This is a temporary, non-benefit eligible, non-exempt position as defined by FLSA standards.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Completing an equipment inventory
· Basic administrative tasks
· Alumni research
· Lab setup or cleanup
· Other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Learning Objectives:
Students will learn how to complete administrative and other tasks required for the operation of the Earth and Environmental Sciences department.
Location: This student worker position is located on campus

Education
First Year, Sophomore, or Junior who are majoring in EENV, ENST, BIOL, CHEM,
Experience
No experience required
Additional Requirements:
· This position nis paid $7.25 per hour and is approximately 4 hours per week
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required for most courses.
Physical Demand· Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
· Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach.
· Position requires occasional stooping, crouching and bending.
· Position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Working conditions are indoor and outdoor.
