Student Recruitment Operations Coordinator
Job description
External Engagement and Global (EEG)
Student Recruitment Operations
We have two full time posts available. One permanent and one fixed term until October 2025.
These roles offer the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
Based within the Student Recruitment Operations team, the roles focuses on providing nurturing customer experiences across a range of enquiry channels for prospective students and stakeholders. You will be providing information, advice, and guidance to prospective students across a range of formats and channels. Working within a team of colleagues in similar roles, you will become a specialist in an aligned faculty area, with the ability to hold knowledge, and support across all faculties, supporting prospective students and University colleagues on a daily basis.
You will be joining our team at an exciting time as we create and build a first-class enquiries service at the University. You will be responding to enquiries from a varied and multinational customer base daily across different enquiry channels, including live chat and phone lines and via our CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics. You will particularly be supporting the Student Recruitment Officer for Online Programmes, focusing on triaging potential leads, responding to enquiries, and supporting conversion of leads through the pipeline to enrol on online programmes.
In addition to enquiries, you will help support the Student Recruitment Operations Team organise and run a range of student recruitment activity – both in person and virtual – throughout the academic year. Supporting the University's undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment ambitions, this work will include activity like online subject sessions and virtual open days, large scale on-campus Open Days and Offer Holder Days and applicant interviews.
You will build relationships across the Student Recruitment Operations team and more widely within the EEG division, as well as key academic and stakeholder contacts to support the smooth running of student recruitment activity across all levels of study.
