About the role
In this role you'll lead on our Subject Masterclasses - in-person, hybrid and virtual subject-specific events that offer students in Year 12 (or equivalent) the chance to experience typical undergraduate teaching at the University of Cambridge. We're beginning to trial running the Masterclasses as hybrid events, so it's a great time to join and make your mark on the project.
For postgraduate students, you'll lead on a programme of communications designed to support prospective students from deciding about Cambridge through to making an application. This role also involves some travel around the UK where you'll be meeting prospective students and be able to network with colleagues working in the sector.
About the team
Our experienced and friendly team coordinate a wide variety of events and resources for prospective applicants, their parents and teachers in order to encourage applications to the University. We engage over 40,000 students and supporters each year through events such as Open Days and teacher conferences.
Beyond working on your specific projects, you'll work collaboratively with other members of the team on the varied range of events and activities we run, giving you a real insight into the full range of activities we offer.
About you
You should have excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills, and be able to manage your own workload. You should also have experience of event organisation or project management. Additional information regarding the role can be found within the further particulars.
