18-month Fixed Term Part-time Post (0.6FTE)
UCC wishes to appoint a Mental Health Nurse for a fixed term of 18 months to assist in the completion of a project to streamline the mental health supports and services to students who are neurodiverse and to provide clinical management and support for students with Mental Health Illnesses or experiencing episodes of significant Mental Distress. The post-holder will help design a future model of mental health supports for students who are neurodiverse including those students diagnosed with ADHD that is viable and sustainable within the limit of the fiscal and other resources available. In addition, the post-holder will hold their own case load, conducting initial mental health assessments, provide on-to-one and group offerings under the supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist and Student Health Doctors.

Appointment may be made on the Clinical Nurse Manager II Salary Scale: pro- rata €57,199 - €67,623.
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy .
