Description

Responsible for engaging and developing university students through the initiation, coordination, and implementation of inclusive co-curricular programming for a diverse student body. Departmental areas of oversight include leadership development, civic engagement, student activities, intramural sports, mascots, welcome week, student discount program, student organizations, diversity and inclusion, outdoor adventures, and family involvement.

  • Develops and leads comprehensive programming in one or more of the departmental areas.
  • Leads, coordinates, implements, and assesses student focused, campus-wide programs and activities.
  • Collaborates and communicates with community organizations and on-campus offices and departments to increase engagement opportunities for students.
  • Implements and manages the university's involvement management software.
  • Identifies and develops leadership opportunities for students, both on and off campus.
  • Hires, supervises, and advises student directors in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of campus programming.
  • Participates in the development of goals, objectives, and visions for campus activities and the Department of Student Life.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
