Occupational Summary :

The Human Resource Office is looking for someone to assist in the daily operation of the office. This includes but is not limited to filing, data entry, and special projects. This requires a high level of confidentiality.

Work Performed:

  • Answers phones and directs calls as appropriate.
  • Sort and distribute daily mail for Human Resources Office.
  • Filing/scanning (electronically) of employee documents in ADP.
  • Assist with creating and developing excel spreadsheets consisting of employee data.
  • Provides administrative support to the Office of Human Resources.
  • Assists with budget request forms.
  • Assists updating and maintaining HR bulletins boards.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
  • Required Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Must be a current Newman University student.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.
  • Prior office setting experience preferred.
  • Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality in maintaining critical and sensitive information, records and reports.
  • Strong computer skills. Preferably in: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to compose correspondence, compile and arrange data in a comprehensible manner.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
  • Days and Times needed : Flexible schedule will depend on student's availability during regular office hours, M – F 8am – 5pm.
