About the role
The Student Hub are seeking a passionate and motivated team advisor who will work to support the 24/7 service offering. You will be part of a team of staff who support our students across a 27/7 timeframe with a shift pattern on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota, working a 12 hour shift from 06.00 – 18.00. The role is primarily based at our Highfield Campus location however there is the requirement to work across all Student Hub locations in Southampton and Winchester. This post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. There is also a further 10% shift enhancement in addition to this.
You will be responsible for in the provision of advice, information and guidance to University of Southampton students and customers on a wide array of subjects including academic administration, student fees and funding, accommodation, graduation, and ID cards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is interested in enhancing customer service skills.
About you
The successful candidate will bring a knowledge of higher education, student support and issues effecting students from a wide range of backgrounds is desirable.
A successful Student Hub Advisor will possess excellent customer service, as well as a competency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning service specific software and internal systems.
The role involves interaction with our students and the successful candidates must be good communicator, both written and verbal and confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and building relationships.
