About the Role:
We are in the process of expanding our Professional Services team to enhance our support for our Initial Teacher Training (ITT) offer and are seeking to appoint a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join our team as the ITT Student Experience Coordinator. You will work with the academic team to recruit students to our new QTS awarding course and will ensure they make a flying start when they begin in September 2024.
With an excellent understanding of social media best practices and expertise in content management, we are seeking the ideal candidate to elevate our 'Gold Star of Teacher Training' brand for potential students and their influencers. You will play a vital role in encouraging the conversion of Initial Teacher Trainee applicants and assist BEd course leaders to create the optimal onboarding experience for students as they begin their journey into academic life. We are committed to providing high-quality education and promoting equality and diversity. Our vision is to make a real impact in the world of Initial Teacher Training.
Ideally based in Cambridge to maximise working across all three campuses (Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough), you will be an integral part of the new ITT team, working alongside the ITT Operations Manager. You will have a degree or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification or have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and CPD relevant to the role. You will be joining a team of motivated, dynamic, inclusive academics and professional services colleagues committed to making ITT a success at ARU. This is a full time, fixed term contract for 1 year starting as soon as you are able. We fully support agile and flexible working and are open to conversations about how to make the role work for the right candidate.
