Will perform a variety of duties involved in the projects and activities of Dr. McAvoy's vegetable research program such as land preparation, sowing, transplanting, crop maintenance, harvesting, postharvest evaluation and land cleanup. Data collection and entry abilities are preferred. All tasks will be performed under the direction and supervision of the horticulture technician.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Good communication skills Follow both oral and written instructions Ability to work effectively on an independent basis; as well as, in a team focused environment Knowledge and skill in the operation of computers and MS Office Suite program
