Student Affairs Assistant I (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Careers and Placement Section of the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS) (Ref: 517435) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance).
Applicants should have a Higher Diploma or Associate Degree preferably with 1 year's work experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome. They should be well- organised, responsible, flexible, attentive to details, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlines. A good sense of number and proficiency in Microsoft Office and written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required. Experience in survey research support or database management and proficiency in database and statistical software or report and webpage design would be an advantage.
The appointee will provide support to the implementation of survey research projects, including graduate employment survey and employer survey. He/She will assist in the survey system testing, publicity and promotion, data collection, data verification and cleaning, report preparation and website update. The appointee will also be assigned with administrative duties for the graduate employment support programmes and daily office operation. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours occasionally upon project needs. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and interviews.
