The Center for Academic Performance at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth is seeking a part-time Statistics tutor. Our office is committed to helping all students meet their personal and academic goals by providing comprehensive academic support services and programs.

Position Summary

Tutors will work to assist students with a graduate level statistics course and provide personalized feedback to each student.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in SPSS and/or SAS.

Knowledge of common statistical concepts and methods used in public health.

Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, power, linear regression, correlation, analysis of variance, and nonparametric statistics.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior graduate level statistics coursework.

Required License / Registration / Certification Work Schedule

Flexible; hours vary as needed.
