    We're looking for highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic nurses with an interest in building their skills in the field of Cancer Care. No previous Cancer Care experience is necessary as full training is provided along with a commitment to continuous learning, team work and mutual support.

    Detailed job description and main responsibilities Your Responsibilities What you'll do

    In this role you will:

    Ensure a high standard of care for patients undergoing procedures

    Work with medical staff and other members of the health care team to ensure that treatments are carried out within agreed policies.

    Maintain accurate records of observation, treatment and patient care.

    To provide supervision to members of the team

    Working within cancer care will provide you with an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills whilst enhancing your knowledge of oncology and haematology. You'll be supported and encouraged to further develop your nursing career.

    Cancer care has a highly motivated and supportive education team who drive staff development forward. There are opportunities to develop your knowledge in cancer care nursing by attending the Wessex Cancer Alliance chemotherapy course and the ‘Fundamentals of Cancer Care' course, developed by our own education team.
