Whilst we are looking for candidates who are able to deliver the requirements of the AfC band 7 post, we will consider applications from candidates who do not yet meet the requirements of an AfC band 7 post, but who have the capacity, ability and drive to develop to this level. In this case, we would look to offer the post at AfC band 6 (starting salary £26,565 pa pro rata), and would support you with training to develop further competencies.   • Considerable proven practical experience in the support of SQL Servers, PC clients in a networked database environment at a senior/specialist level.
  • Hardware and system administration experience using enterprise scale Windows SQL Server or Unix/Oracle systems
  • Systems analysis

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and ODBC/client envrionments
  • Extensive experience in Windows workstation software and MS-Office.
