We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Speciality Admin Team Leaders to join our dynamic and friendly team.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with supervisory experience to provide strong leadership for our teams of Patient Pathway Coordinators.

We welcome and encourage informal visits to the department to meet the teams learn more about the service.

Cancer Care is a compassionate, dynamic and high-profile care group which covers a wide range of specialties from treatments for patients with cancer including chemotherapy and radiotherapy to a Regional Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. We are also the Regional Primary Treatment Centre for Teenagers

Business hours are between 8am to 6pm Monday – Friday.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities Your Responsibilities What you'll do

Working closely with your colleagues you will lead a team of Patient Pathway Co-ordinators and Administrators working across a range of clinical areas.

You will work within a dedicated speciality clinical area to provide advice and guidance to co-ordinate the admin team processes for the patient's pathway. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the patient's journey by ensuring that streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs. You will be involved in service delivery for the Speciality Admin Team including implementing new processes.

You will provide cross-cover for other Team Leaders within the Division to ensure a consistent and effective administration service is always maintained.

What we're looking for

This is a busy role, and we are therefore looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients and clinical teams. You should be able to work with minimum supervision and have a tactful, sensitive approach to dealing with occasional difficult situations.
