Provides prevention activities for youth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provides prevention services to youth in Dallas and Tarrant County at schools, community centers and other community sites. Hosts booth at health fairs and other community activities. Work 40 hours a week, that will include some evenings and Saturdays for special events. Supervises social work interns. Implements all duties with fidelity and ensures compliance with program and grant requirements. Assists with data collection as requested. Completes reports in a timely manner for approval of supervisor. Documents services in accordance with Center procedures. Complies with NASW Code of Ethics. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in social work. Two (2) years of experience in medical and/or psychiatric social work to include one (1) year as Social Work Assistant or the equivalent experience.
Bi-lingual (Spanish / English); LMSW.
