Position Summary Information
General Information
The Center for Global Engagement is looking for a social media intern for the Global Learning and Partnerships (GLP) team. This position is for the Spring 2023 semester and may be renewed for the Fall 2023 semester. This internship is a paid student position that requires 10 hours each week. Office hours will be set according to student's availability. Intern will get the chance to build out their professional portfolio.
Please submit a resume, cover letter, and 2-3 samples of portfolio work from various social media. In your cover letter, please suggest a social strategy or tool that the GLP team should employ to promote global learning opportunities and events to students and faculty at JMU. Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
