ODMA Work Study Intern Qualifications and Skills

  • Represent ODMA in meetings, trainings, & forums.
  • Support ODMA coordinators & work-study supervisor with programming
  • Collaborate with other departments and work-study supervisor
  • Provide support to students who come to ODMA by helping them apply at SLCC, register for classes, and setting up appointments with their advisor
  • Attend semester check-in's with ODMA director and work-study supervisor
  • Commit to hours according to Federal Work-study program
  • Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued Minimum Qualifications

  • Must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA during the time of application and each semester
  • Must be enrolled in 9 academic credit hours during Fall and Spring semesters. If you are an SAT student, you must be enrolled in 18 clock hours during Fall and Spring semester.

    Work-study is awarded to SLCC students through the Federal College Work-Study program, which requires establishing financial need through the FAFSA application from the Financial Aid Office. If you do not have work-study awarded to you, you will not be eligible for work under work-study positions.
