DUTIES

The Thompson Rivers University School of Nursing has sessional faculty positions available in the Health Care Assistant (HCA-PP) program during the period October 2021 through February 2022.

The successful candidate(s) may teach lab and practice courses (HEAL 1150, HEAL 1300, HEAL 1250) within the HCA program and will organize activities related to HCA including but not limited to attending meetings, clinical agency liaison, development of student clinical assignments and conducting evaluations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters required, Masters in progress may be considered;
  • Undergraduate degree must be in nursing;
  • Practicing membership with BCCNM required;
  • Teaching experience at the program level preferred; and
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Long Term Care, in a nurse/client relationship.
