DUTIES

The Chemistry Department at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) invites applications for a sessional position starting September 1, 2024. In this lab- oriented position, candidates will create and maintain a positive and engaging learning environment while teaching up to four chemistry labs.

Preference will be given to candidates with a documented track record of a successful, reflective teaching practice at the post-secondary level.

QUALIFICATIONS

We seek applicants with a strong track-record of excellence in scholarly teaching in the field of chemistry.

Applicants who are close to completion of their relevant MSc are welcome to apply and will be considered.

Applicants must demonstrate success and innovation in teaching. It is also expected that the candidate will make a strong ongoing service contribution to the department, school, university and/or the broader community.

Pay Band

$2,575.50 - $2,575.50 ( Sessional Faculty - Academic (per credit) )
