Senior Technical Officer, Civil Engineering, College of Science and Engineering, 1FTE, Permanent
Applications are invited for the post of Senior Technical Officer in the School of Engineering at University of Galway.
The School of Engineering is research-intensive and student-centred (see https: // www. universityofgalway.ie/science-engineering/engineering/), with a long-established international reputation for excellence in both teaching and research. The School is primarily located in the Alice Perry Engineering Building and has close links with the principal research centres of the University and carries out a wide range of specific and interdisciplinary research.
The Senior Technical Officer will play a key role in the management of technical resources and the ongoing development of the School of Engineering. Senior Technical Officer posts, where established, are open to internal competition. Technical Officers and Senior Technical Officers are eligible to apply for such posts. Candidates should hold a post-graduate qualification at master's level or higher (post 2006 entrants). The successful candidate will report to the Chief Technical Officer (or nominated staff member).
