About You
Working as part of the Experience Portfolio, The Senior Scrum Master's primary purpose is to facilitate our agile development squads in delivery of work and leading the squads on in platform delivery team /project delivery.
Working with value stream stakeholders and project managers, this role needs to manage the responsibilities and impediments to ensure successful project This role helps the squad manage realistic outcomes for the business while maintaining high standard of continuous improvement delivery. and meeting delivery goals committed in the quarterly planning process. There is also an enormous focus on transparency of what is practically possible and clear messaging on all squad related matters. Finally, the Senior Scrum Master will be the go-to person to coach and elevate agile practices within the squad.
This role will be working with up to 2 hybrid squads of up to 10 people each with some cross-squad dependencies within a single value stream.
To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:
Proven experience in being resourceful and entrepreneurial (in approach to problem solving)
Experience in working as a scrum master in a distributed squad setup for at least 2 years
Experience in an education setting for 1-2 years(preferred)
Experience working across a dynamic portfolio at various levels of scale.
Analytical and critical thinker with good experience with facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated experience in Agile implementation and applying relevant SAFE/scrum/agile principles, practices, and theories.
Demonstrated experience in agile project delivery.
Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software.
