About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior School Administrator to join our Cambridge Faculty Office Administration Team, within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. This is a full time (37 hours), one-year fixed term post. This role will require you to be on-campus three days a week.
You will provide administrative support and advice to our Vision & Hearing Sciences students and staff. You will also provide face-to-face guidance, deal with telephone or virtual counter enquiries and use our computer-based information systems.
As an individual you will be highly motivated, organised and have a commitment to enhance the high standards of customer service within the School and the Faculty. You must be able to prioritise and work independently to meet deadlines. Previous experience of servicing committee meetings is essential.
With a degree, part qualified relevant professional qualification or demonstrable level of experience and continued development, you will be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience of working in student administration within the Higher Education (HE) sector is desirable. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organised and have a commitment to enhance the high standards of customer service within the School and the Faculty. Previous experience of servicing committee meetings is essential.
