    The Opportunity

    The Office of Research Grants and Development is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Research Development Officer within the Research Development Team who will be responsible for proving quality and timely high- level advice and strategic support to researchers engaging with competitive, peer reviewed funding opportunities.

    In this position you will work within a high-performing central team and will collaborate with stakeholders across Faculty and central portfolios in providing writing, strategic review and editing support to Monash researchers applying for competitive funding. Moreover, you will contribute to strategic and operational planning and development initiatives, particularly in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.

    About you

    As the Senior Research Development Officer, you will use your broad knowledge of the assessment of research quality, presentation and methodology across all disciplines combined with your own research experience and comprehensive knowledge of funding opportunities from research funders to aid researchers in securing funding.

    Your exceptional written communication and editing skills; high level planning, organisation and judgement skills; and exceptional interpersonal skills will ensure your success in this position.
