Offer Description

The Institute of Art History (IAH), www. ipu.hr, is a public research institution focusing on the history and theory of Croatian visual arts, based in Zagreb, with the branch in Split, a member of The International Association of Research Institutes in the History of Art, RIHA.

IAH has 39 employees (among them 19 scholars and researchers – art historians and 10 expert associates). The primary task of IAH is to conduct fundamental and applied research, interpret and value art phenomena, monuments, and personalities on the territory of Croatia, with the aim of contextualizing art heritage in the national, regional and European context.

The Institute of Art History, from Zagreb, is announcing the competition for the 4 job positions

1. Senior Research Associate, in the field of Humanities (Art History) for conducting research in the unit for Painting, Sculpture and Crafts 16th – 19th c.,1 position, f/m

2. Senior Research Associate, in the field of Humanities (Art History) for conducting research in the unit for Built Heritage 19th – 20th c., 1 position, f/m

3. Senior Research Associate, in the field of Humanities (Art History) for conducting research in the unit for for Informational, Communicational and Theoretical Aspects of Art History, 1 position, f/m

4. Senior Research Associate, in the field of Humanities (Art History) for conducting research in the unit subsidiary in Split – Cvito Fisković Centre, 1 position, f/m
