Senior Research Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 527101) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Master's degree or above in psychology, social science, science, or other healthcare-related disciplines, with at least 3 years' work experience in research and administration. They should have experience in journal publication, grant writing, big data analysis and an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; the willingness to learn new skills; a strong commitment to high quality research; good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and the ability to prioritize work and maintain a high level of effectiveness. Experience in clinical research and proficiency in statistical programming (e.g. SPSS, R, and SAS) would be required.

The appointee will work closely with professional researchers and clinicians on multimodal neuroimaging and cognitive investigations in first-episode schizophrenia and psychotic bipolar disorder. He/She will help with advanced data analysis, manuscript writing and supervise junior research staff in project management and data analysis.
