Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 517225) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences in Public Administration, Policy Studies, Economics or related disciplines, with 3 years' work experience or a Master's degree with at least one year's post- qualification work experience. They should have an interest in social policy research, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational and interpersonal skills; and able to work independently and as a team. Experience in proposal drafting and/or preparation of manuscripts is preferred.
The appointee will work on research projects related to social policy. He/She will be responsible for coordinating ongoing research projects, including conducting fieldwork and follow-up, analyzing data, drafting proposals, reports and research papers, and providing administrative support. Those with less experience or lower qualifications may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I/II.
