Hong Kong Baptist University has been awarded funding under Job Creation Scheme 3.0 supported by the Government to create employment opportunities.

The School of Chinese Medicine is creating a variety of positions for university graduates/experienced professionals to support various projects/programmes of the School. The School now invites applications for the following position: Senior Research Assistant (PR0108/23-24) The appointee is expected to conduct research projects in the areas of anticancer research.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory experiments related to anticancer research projects;
  • Support teaching and research activities under the supervision of the supervisor;
  • Conduct literature review for relevant research projects; and
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned.
  • Requirements:

  • A master's degree in a relevant field, such as Chinese Medicine or Life Science;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong attention to details and ability to multitask;
  • Basis of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology or pathology; and
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
  • The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of up to one year.

    Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
