S enior Research Assistant in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 523305) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Application should possess a Master's degree or above in Nursing, Social Science, Social Work, Statistics, Public Health or other healthcare-related disciplines, with at least one-year full-time relevant working experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese); and good interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team. Experience in coordinating research/extracurricular projects would be an advantage.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator, Professor Kelvin WANG, in coordinating ongoing research projects on alcohol reduction project. He/She will assist in subject recruitment, data collection, conduct fieldwork and telephone follow-up in clinical trial, as well as perform other duties as assigned. They will usually work during daytime on weekdays, and irregular working hours will be required occasionally. On-the-job training related to research and statistical methods will be provided.
