Senior Project Officer / Project Officer (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 522773) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

The LKS Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed) is hiring a Senior Project Officer / Project Officer (at the rank of Clerk I/II) to join the Knowledge Exchange and Faculty Advancement Team of the Faculty Office.

Applicants should possess:

  • a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing or related fields;
  • at least 2 years' relevant experience in digital marketing and corporate communications;
  • a proven track record of researching digital trends, implementing online campaigns, and measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of digital channels;
  • strong knowledge of, and interest in, digital marketing channels and technologies, including social media, email marketing, web optimisation, and related analytics;
  • excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills;
  • the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Experience with LinkedIn and its consumer services is a plus. Those with less experience may be considered as Project Officer.

    The appointee will assume one or more of the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Faculty's digital marketing strategies across various channels e.g. ad placement on social media and mobile platforms, brand-building via email circulars and website content management.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation of the Faculty's digital presence.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure digital strategies align with the Faculty's overall marketing objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies, and recommend new strategies and tactics to improve the University's digital presence.
  • He/She may also perform other duties in support of the Faculty's mission, core values and goals. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
