Senior Project Officer (PR0296/22-23)
The Centre is now looking for a competent and devoted team member who can assist in implementing various teaching and learning initiatives.
Responsibilities: The appointee is required to assist in
• Coordinating educational research support in the Centre, including advising on, planning and implementing appropriate research methods (both quantitative and qualitative); • Designing technology-assisted quality assurance and assessment framework for instructional design; • Conducting data collection and analysis in various scales and from various sources; • Writing related reports, preparing and disseminate outcomes in seminars/conferences and publications; and • Undertaking other duties as assigned.
Requirements: • A master's degree in Social Sciences, Education or a related discipline with at least five years of relevant experience; • High proficiency with MS Excel and solid competence in using statistical analysis software packages such as SPSS. • Experience in technology-assisted assessment and analytics; • An excellent command of English and Chinese; and • Good team player with good communication and problem-solving skills and be attentive to details.
Applicants with less work experience may be considered for the post of Project Officer.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one to two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
