The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Project Officer to play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of infectious disease epidemiology projects within the School. This position will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and meet performance targets.. The Senior Project Officer will work closely with the Head of Unit and key stakeholders to plan and scope project deliverables, manage protocols and oversee governance processes. Your focus will be on enhancing collaboration between academics, clinicians and external clients to drive successful project outcomes.
In this dynamic role, the Senior Project Officer will be the central point of contact for internal and external groups, fostering productive relationships that support project execution. This position will also be responsible for organising participatory workshops, seminars and other forms of stakeholder engagement. By providing timely updates, reports and supporting change management strategies, you will help guide projects from conception through to delivery.
We are seeking a candidate with a degree in a relevant field and extensive experience in project management. Your ability to manage projects successfully, meet deadlines and foster cooperation across diverse teams will be key to your success in this role.
