About You The Senior Manager, Research Partnerships will lead the Research Partnerships team in developing and sustaining research collaborations aligned with RMIT's Knowledge with Action Strategy. This pivotal role represents the University's multidisciplinary research capabilities to industry, government, and community partners.
Collaborating closely with the Research and Innovation Senior Leadership Team, Colleges, and Portfolios, this role will develop and implement partnership engagement strategies that align RMIT's strengths with the Australian research funding landscape and policy environment. The Senior Manager will drive growth in RMIT's research partnership portfolio by fostering long-term relationships and strategic collaborations across the University.
Key responsibilities include managing partnership pipelines, identifying opportunities for collaborative research initiatives, and ensuring alignment with Category 1-4 Income opportunities. The role will also work strategically with internal teams across IP & Commercialisation, Major Research Initiatives, and Research Proposals to position RMIT's research capabilities within broader translational initiatives, contributing to a cohesive university proposition for government and industry partners.
