Position Summary
The Utility Trades Technician (Evening Shift) reports to Facilities Management's Carpenter Shop. This multifunctional technician works independently to provide skilled repairs in a broad range of maintenance trades including: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC- as well as some minor site utility repairs. Regular Hours for this position are: Sunday: 11:00am- 9:30pm; Mon-Wed: 2:00pm-12:30am (schedule may vary based on weather and department needs)

This position is subject to overtime and schedule changes and may be required to work shifts during weekends, holidays, and special events. Incumbent will be required to participate in the Facilities Management “on-call” program. This position has been designated as essential to the operation of the department, will require reporting to work when the university is officially closed, and is subject to overtime.
