We are looking for a highly motivated candidate in the field of virology and immunology to fit directly into the School of Microbiology. The successful candidate will have an interest in the broad areas of virology and immunology including, but not limited to, the interaction between viruses and the host immune system. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to, and develop where appropriate, teaching and research programmes to support these areas within the School of Microbiology and associated research centres e.g. APC Microbiome Ireland.

Appointment may be made on the Senior Lecturer Salary Scale: €75,426 – €106,871 (Scale B) / €72,840 - €101,527 (Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
