Senior IT Assistant (holding the functional title of IT Technologist) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: 519132) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C of Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; min. Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE; OR a recognized diploma or above in any disciplines. They should have competence and a keen interest in information technology and audio-visual fields, excellent problem-solving skills, positive working attitude, quick learning ability and logical mindset. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The appointee will assist the Head of IT team in performing assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment and provide information technology and audio-visual support to the department, including online meeting support, control of audio- visual system in classrooms, website content maintenance, as well as photography taking and video shooting in clinical and non-clinical areas. He/She will provide on-site technical support to various courses, workshops, events/conferences of the department. Working in evenings and on weekends may be required.
