  • We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Professional to broaden their knowledge and experience by joining our team as a Senior HR Adviser. Remuneration and Global Mobility combines a number of HR centres of expertise, including the Remuneration and Senior Appointments team, supporting designated client groups and working together to enable Monash HR to successfully fulfil its goals and objectives, particularly to attract, develop and retain high performing staff.

    The Senior HR Adviser applies high-level expertise and is responsible for managing senior appointments and remuneration within an allocated client group, with a focus on high quality client service, accurate technical output and attention to detail.

    As the successful candidate you will:

  • Provide strategic support to senior management in relation to reporting and planning for remuneration and senior appointments
  • Manage and coordinate the operation of remuneration and senior appointments in accordance with University policies, procedures and strategic priorities
  • Provide specialist, expert advice and reports for senior management regarding remuneration matters, senior appointment processes and senior staff employment contracts
  • Coordinate and prepare senior staff contracts of employment, including performance-based employment contracts, variations to employment contracts and the drafting of unique special contract conditions as required
  • About you

    To add value in this role, you will be actioned oriented, with specialised remuneration and benefits knowledge or experience in a similar/professional role with a focus on remuneration policy and procedures and employment contract legislation, along with strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail.
