Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant, Communications and Public Relations (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 527121) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree, with about 2 to3 years' of full-time work experience in digital marketing, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field (Media / Digital Agency / PR Agency Experience is preferred). They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); outstanding project management and problem-solving skills; good understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEM, social media, email marketing, and display advertising; excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics); and the ability to multitask under pressure, work well both independently and in a team, as well as work with people from a broad range of backgrounds internally and externally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Those with less experience or qualifications may also be considered for the Executive Assistant position.

The appointee will support the School's Communications and Public Relations Team in planning, developing and implementing corporate communications and digital marketing strategies for brand promotion. Responsibilities of the appointee will include:

  • Assist in creating, implementing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media promotion, and search engine optimization and marketing (SEO & SEM);
  • Support the development and maintenance of user-friendly and visually appealing websites that are consistent with brand identity;
  • Assist in creating, optimizing and publishing content for digital platforms that are compelling, relevant and aligned with brand guidelines;
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with HKU Business School goals;
  • Track and measure various digital marketing metrics, such as social media engagement data (likes, shares, comments, clicks), changes in website traffic and user behavior, video views and engagement rates, and any other relevant performance indicators;
  • Support a variety of corporate and PR events, including summits, ceremonies, seminars, workshops, press conferences, guest visits, partnership development events, and other activities, while also assisting with media relationships and event management; and
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by the Faculty.
