The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
We are seeking a Senior Epidemiologist to join the UK Biobank Record Linkage Team to help expand UK Biobank's ability to link to electronic healthcare records. The post holder will be responsible for assessing the scientific added-value of health-related records (including clinical audits, disease- specific registries and other relevant datasets) for inclusion in the resource.
To be considered, you will hold PhD in epidemiology, statistics or a related subject, have excellent experience and understanding of cohort study design and large-scale epidemiological analysis, demonstrable experience and understanding of healthcare records for large-scale epidemiological research, excellent computer skills including knowledge of statistical packages or programming languages and ability to work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
This is a full time, fixed term post (part time considered) for 2 years.
