What ANU can offer you:
This role will assist with delivering the Digital Master Plan by working with teams within the Student First Program of work.
The ideal candidate will be proficient at establishing effective, customer- focused working relationships with business users, technical teams and external partners/s. You will demonstrate initiative and work proactively in understanding user needs and articulating these through epics, features and stories to form a product backlog. Familiarity with human-centred design methodologies, agile ways of working, and DevOps practices will be highly regarded. Experience in the higher education sector will be beneficial but not essential.
The Australian National University (ANU) is establishing a digital future that matches our national and global mission. It will improve services for our students, researchers, academics, professional staff and the wider community. Developed following an extensive consultation process with staff and students, the Digital Master Plan outlines our transformation journey to 2030. It is the University's high-level strategy for evolving our digital environment and is a critical enabler of the ANU Strategic Plan 2021-2025.
The Project Delivery & Engagement (PD&E) portfolio within the ITS Division will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the University to deliver on the Digital Master Plan.
The Student First Program will be a crucial deliverable of the Digital Master Plan. Student First will transform the student experience while enhancing our learning and teaching digital ecosystem and student systems. It will place the student experience and voice at the centre of everything we do and use human- centred design to ensure that our new digital environments are inclusive and accessible.
