As our new Senior Assistant Financial Accountant, you will play an integral role in monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial controls of ARU and the day- to-day operations Financial Accounts team.

    Working as part of a customer focused team, you will be involved in preparation of interim and annual accounts of subsidiary and associated companies and assist with the preparation of ARU's financial accounts. You will be involved with all ARU payment systems, both making payments and development of systems.

    You will have a degree and appropriate level of experience or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification eg Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) ideally at a finalist level, and has previous experience in similar financial accounting role(s) preferably with knowledge of different payment methods and use of ERP system(s). You will have a good understanding of the practical application of financial accounting techniques, be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and have good interpersonal and analytical skills.
