About You
As the Senior Advisor, College Accreditation, you will be responsible for providing expertise and support to college accreditation initiatives including project management support, report writing, development of ongoing processes to support improvements related to accreditation outcomes and providing high quality advice across college portfolios.
This includes provision of support and advice for the college Executive, gathering, reporting and monitoring data related to accreditations, developing plans to address issues and leading college initiatives related to accreditation and quality under the direction of the Manager, Governance, Risk and Accreditation.
Additionally, you will work collaboratively with leaders and with key members across the College, University and externally and will contribute to cultural and work practice changes required to support the College's strategic direction.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Proven knowledge and demonstrated experience in the coordination and delivery of academic services, with an application toward accreditation, in the tertiary education sector.
Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end project management, including knowledge and application of project management technologies.
Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice, contribute to new approaches and to drive creative solutions through to implementation across multiple areas.
Highly organised with proven ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the proven ability to liaise effectively with management a wide range of staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
Demonstrated ability to produce and develop detailed reports against external and internal standards and develop and implement new protocols and work practices.
A strong service orientation and high professional standards with experience in providing and leading prompt, proactive, high-level support and a demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and creative solutions.
Demonstrated high-level computer skills using Word, Excel, databases and email with the focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent ability to source, interpret, summarise and present data from a variety of sources.
