As a senior member of our friendly and collegiate administrative team, you will provide high level support to the Head of School and also lead a team to deliver professional and efficient services including operational assistance and administrative support to the academic community, event organisation, financial administration, organising and minuting meetings.
To be successful in this role you will:

You will join the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences Faculty Operating Service. Based in the School of Physics and Astronomy, you will make an important contribution supporting the Head of School and the academic community, as well as leading a team.
The School of Physics and Astronomy has a long-standing reputation for world- leading research in the fields of astronomy, quantum, light and matter, and theoretical particle physics. They are dedicated to providing high quality teaching and have invested in both teaching and research facilities.
