Main duties and responsibilities
You will provide administrative support for the organisation of the University's international marketing and recruitment activities. Your role will be responsible for managing and implementing the commission payment process for international recruitment agents, partner institutions and foundation colleges. You will also manage databases of suppliers, agents and partner institutions, ensuring that all contracts are in date and that renewal happen in a timely manner. Other duties include managing and monitoring the financial processes within the department and reporting on central and regional budget codes.
Skill and experience required
You will be expected to have proven relevant administrative and/or secretarial experience and have good IT Skills, including use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). You must have excellent team working skills and interpersonal skills. In addition to this you will have the ability to use own initiative and where necessary, to develop and implement solutions and new procedures. You must have excellent organisation skills, be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines whilst managing a varied workload effectively.
Additionally, you will be flexible and adaptable to the team and workload requirements, and be committed to the provision of a professional, helpful and customer-focused service to prospective students, overseas representatives, and staff.
Qualifications required
You will be educated to a minimum of A-Levels or equivalent, or have proven experience.
