Senior Accounts Clerk

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Accounts Clerk within the in the School of Clinical Medicine Cluster Team.

The Departments of Radiology, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Medical Genetics have clustered their Professional Services staff to form one integrated team with specialist groups in HR, Finance and Education. This team will manage all administrative matters across the five departments. The departments are housed across multiple different locations.

The successful candidate will be based in the Finance team in the Cluster and will undertake the administration of accounts and maintain financial records.

The successful candidate should have past experience of working in an accounts environment and be a good team player with excellent communication skills. The ability to work to deadlines is very important, as is willingness to take a pro-active approach to tasks. Experience of the University's finance system (CUFS) or other equivalent finance systems is essential. Applicants are required to have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above and should be a competent user of Microsoft Excel.
