ECU Department of Information Technology and Computing Services is looking for part-time student support to work as Learning Platform Technicians providing top-tier support for Respondus LockDown Browser & Monitor, WebEx, and PointSolutions.
Students hired for this position will have the opportunity to work with ECU's University-supported learning technology applications. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to work directly with ECU faculty and staff, instructing and assisting them as well as other ECU students on the use of these technologies. The selected person will assist in web content development and work with application and audio/video technology. This job is well suited for students who are looking to add some practical experience in troubleshooting, client support, training, and content development to their resume.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Should have good presentation and public speaking skills 2. General knowledge of Microsoft Office 3. The ability to think “outside of the box” when the situation calls for it 4. The ability to offer flexible and effective client support and consultation
Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Ideal candidates would be those with a good understanding of computer technology as well as excellent interpersonal communication skills. Preferred education would be that which builds these skills. Sophomores or Juniors are preferred.
