Security Officer

Description

Do you have experience in and enjoy helping others, in particular young people? Our Security Officers are vital in keeping students, staff, visitors and our buildings safe. They are friendly and diligent and work hard to contribute to the success of the University. As part of a close knit and loyal team, you will be involved in patrolling the campus, engaging one-to-one with students who need some support, responding to alarms and incidents and a whole lot more. No two days are the same and it is never boring.

A current full driving licence (manual transmission) is essential as you will be driving University of Plymouth vehicles. This role is also subject to health surveillance with our Occupational Health team.

This is a permanent position, working annualised hours of 1924 hours per year.
