Lincoln School of Design is looking for a School Director of Teaching and Learning with proven experience of leadership in higher education, to champion and enhance the quality of teaching and learning in Design. You will have a strong grasp of the opportunities and challenges faced by the Design industry and will have the opportunity to be an innovative teacher, a creative thinker and an excellent communicator. You will be a team player, capable of positively influencing colleagues in efforts to ensure an equitable, enjoyable and enriching student experience. Ideally you will hold the Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (or equivalent), and have a regional and national profile in teaching and professional practice.

As School Director of Teaching and Learning, you will play a leading role in reviewing, reinvigorating and redeveloping the degree portfolio. You will support and guide the School's work in bridging disciplines, institutions and nations; in diversifying, decolonising and internationalising the curriculum; embedding and extracting employability; advancing pedagogy and assessment, and promoting the student voice. Taking on a permanent role in the School as an Associate Professor, you will serve as School Director of Teaching and Learning for 4 years, with the possibility of extension subject to mutual agreement.
