  • About the Role An exciting opportunity at Swinburne University is open for a Scheduling Officer to join the Student Administration and Library Services team!

    As a Scheduling Officer within Swinburne University of Technology, you will be responsible to liaise closely with school stakeholders and professional departments to support the building of academic and exam timetables. Working under the direction of the Scheduling Services Specialists and Coordinators, the Scheduling Officer will also be involved in the planning and facilitation of exams, organising resources and ad-hoc event bookings.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with academic, management and administrative staff, including the preparation of clear reports
  • Have a positive, pro-active and energetic manner when dealing with situations in environments which are sometimes high pressure, with the ability to retain a professional manner
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
  • Qualifications

  • A degree without subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in a related field
