Provide scheduling accountabilities and administrative excellence at CDU Nhulunbuy Campus.

 

About the Position
As the Scheduler and Business Administrator in the East Arnhem Region, you will perform scheduling and planning functions, training, administration and support, secretarial services, financial functions, travel bookings (including student and staff funded travel), student liaison and support, site contractor coordination, and human resource support for the University's satellite site in Nhulunbuy. 

 

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Extensive scheduling or administrative experience and/or education/ training in administration
  • Proven ability to schedule and plan events and activities
  • Prior experience providing administrative support in a team environment
  • Well-developed organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, exercise initiative for problem solving and decision making, and work with minimal supervision
  • Established experience with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and the ability to learn new computer software/systems quickly
  • The ability to complete financial support tasks such as purchasing and reconciliation including the use of financial software systems (such as Oracle) to facilitate payments, acquire approvals, and reconcile transactions
  • High level written, verbal and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of internal and external clients

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7. The base salary will be in the range $89,845 - $98,622 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $105,118 - $115,387 per annum including 17% superannuation.
